 About HOMESTEAD GOATS Olympia, WA

Welcome to "Homestead Goats", our Nigerian Dwarf dairy goat farm in Olympia, Washington. We are a family run farm and keep about 30 miniature milk goats on our 15 acre homestead. Our goal is to raise happy, healthy, & high quality ADGA registered, Nigerian Dwarves.

My sisters and I have been raising & showing goats for about 10 years now. Our mom has been raising goats, & other livestock, most of her life so she has passed on her love & knowledge of goats to the rest of our clan. My family & I love spending time together tending & showing our herd.

The health & happiness of our herd is very important to us so our goats are extremely well cared for. In fact, they are absolutely spoiled! They are also very well socialized with other animals & people because they get so much daily love & attention. We've kept our herd healthy & free of caprine diseases: CAE, CL, Q-Fever, Johnes, & Brucella, by taking biosecurity precautions & doing sample blood testing.

We've collected some of the best genetic lines from across the country & have continued to work on improving the conformation and productivity of our goats. We've had great success improving our Nigerians through the use of selective breeding, artificial insemination, & ADGA PLUS performance programs such as Linear Appraisal.
We've been incredibly blessed in our family farming endeavors, and homestead farming has been a wonderful way to learn & spend time together as a family. We also enjoy helping others get started on their own homestead farming ventures, and adventures!

      ♥  Happy Homesteading ♥
